Job Description

  • Follow industrial projects in target countries
  • Develop relationship with key project stake holders such as Owners/Developers, EPCs, Consultants, etc.,
  • Map SGS Services to potential clients
  • Maximize revenues through selling services across the project cycle from the development to commissioning
  • Liaise with global SGS network to develop strong selling value propositions
  • Ensure constant communication with clients, at global and local levels
  • Lead industrial projects sales revenues and profitable growth strategy
  • Development & implementation of sales strategy targeting high growth markets
  • Building clear customer segmentation and target services
  • Achievement of target sales revenues
  • Building of client relationships through excellence in execution of sales processes
  • Signing of services frame agreements with EPCs, Plant Operators, etc.
  • Working closely with regional sales lead and utilize all necessary tools to convert opportunities to orders and win/loss analysis
  • Addition of new clients in both existing and new markets
  • Development of strong sales pipeline with mix of active leads and opportunities
  • Organizing targeted promotional campaigns to build SGS Brand among potential clients
  • Proactive coordination with global KAMs and Service line/SBU managers to meet client expectations
  • Collecting competitive intelligence and utilizing it in positioning of SGS services in target markets
  • Actively promote the image, capability and integrity of SGS with Key Clients.
  • Perform regular internal and external (i.e. customer mandated) reporting
  • At all times, comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct.

Job Requirement

  • Graduation from University or higher with related majors
  • A dynamic sales professional or a Techno-commercial person with experience in selling services to “industrial projects” in markets such as Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities, Manufacturing, Infrastructure & Construction, Water distribution etc.

  • Experience in handling sales processes and achieving targets
  • Experience of matrix structured international organisations
  • Experience in commercial risk management advantageous
  • Proficiency in English & Chinese
  • Current / previous international exposure and relationship with major international/ regional clients preferred
  • Must have good communication skills at all levels
  • Organised with project management skills
  • Tenacious and target driven
  • General Business/ industry awareness with an ability to identify opportunities
  • Strategic thinking with analytical skills
  • Team player with a real ability to network and collaborate
  • Professional with high standards in personal presentation and reputation
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate several activities simultaneously
  • Trouble-shooter, problem solver, diplomatic and assertive
  • Working location: Hanoi
